We read through the details and get back to you to confirm anything that is unclear, such as access, large items or dates. For bigger moves we will suggest a video or home survey. You then get a written quote. There is no obligation to book.
I do not have a moving date yet. Can I still ask for a quote?
Yes. Leave the date blank or give a rough month and mention it in the details box. Many people ask for quotes while waiting on a completion date, and it helps to have a price ready when the date is confirmed.
What details help you give an accurate quote?
The number of bedrooms, any large or unusual items (a piano, range cooker, American fridge freezer, gym equipment), stairs or lifts at either end, parking near each property, and whether you need packing, dismantling or storage. The more we know, the fewer surprises later.
Do you cover my area?
We cover Newcastle upon Tyne, the rest of Tyne and Wear, south east Northumberland and County Durham, and we carry out long distance moves across the UK. If you are not sure, just send the form with your postcodes and we will let you know.
